ACM Gospel Choir - Mark DeLisser

The ACM Gospel Choir was formed in 2005 at the Academy of Contemporary Music by vocal coach Mark De-Lisser.

The ACM Gospel Choir are a group of the finest singers in the UK today. Dubbed the ‘coolest choir’ on BBC1’s Last Choir Standing (2008) they have gone on to perform for the Queen, with Nelson Mandela and so much more.

The ACM Gospel Choir are a professional choir who are available to sing at corporate events, weddings, workshops and schools programs. We’re also constantly on tour at various venues throughout the UK and Europe. Keep an eye on our Next Performance space above for our next public show.

The choir rose to fame when they reached the semi-finals of BBC One’s Last Choir Standing series in 2008. Dubbed the youngest, hippest choir and the “Stars” of the show they have gone on to tour with Russell Watson, perform with Beverley Knight, JLS, Diversity, Alexandra Burke, record with Robbie Williams, Scouting For Girls, Olly Murs and sung as special guests for HRH The Queen on numerous occasions.

The choir won the Urban Music Awards for Best Gospel Act 2014 and set a New World Record for the highest Carol Concert on a Plane.

The choir bring a freash new slant to Gospel staples but are as equally at home with contemporary pop covers. Adding their own harmonic arrangements to  bring the songs new life.
